Bathing in Islam

The history of Turkish baths, which dates back to the Romans, gained importance after the Turks accepted the Islamic faculty because of the importance Islam gives to cleanliness. With Islam, a brand new understanding of cleaning emerged. In the past, it was washed with water that did not flow in a bathtub, but after Islam, it was started to be washed with sparkling clean water. It has become a tradition for Turkish people to go to the bathhouse. Perhaps for this reason, there were many excuses for going to a bath, from bridal baths to groom's baths, private baths, and even to having a girl in a bathhouse. Nowadays, the latest system shower cabin systems continue to make our lives easier.
